It's ironic that I wrote to ATO in 2007 and 2008 complaining about lack of e-tax for Mac, but 6 years later still no workable version (for me at least) and for those that have managed to get it to work, it still looks like a buggy mess.

It also kept throwing up an error on the work-related self-education expenses item 'The table must be completed before going to the next screen.' Only this morning did I realise that there were some descriptions that were rolled over from last year that were not applicable this year. They were not visible though unless I scrolled down, making it thoroughly confusing. I guess it's version 1 for Mac though, so it should get better. Now that I've rolled my data over, it has also rendered Windows redundant on my Mac mini (which is a good thing, given that Windows 8 is a horribly confusing mess of an OS).
